All so wonderful, especially when served with Asian sauces. Thick, semi-spicy, a little bit sweet and salty. All flavors in moderation and none of them overwhelming the whole rest. A great composition of five elements, so typical in many Asian countries.

I must admit, that quite often, we also select meals from stalls to try it. Hungary did not disappoint us in that area. A lot of bars offering burgers, pizza slices, kebabs, Turkish cuisine and typical local plates.
Being a Vegetarian in Hungary is not easy. I would even not mention all Vegans that would like to visit this beautiful country. Surely, their life would not be easy. Of course, I mean hear going out to restaurants and enjoying food tasting. Traditional Hungarian dishes usually include some kind of meat. So what is an alternative for you?
Don’t you think that after a couple of days in Hungary with an everyday lunch or dinner including breaded pork, one could be bored? So were we. That is why we wanted to get something lighter.
Going to Hungary and not trying their Wiener schnitzel, lángos or a goulash soup would be a mistake. You must try them, to be able to understand their sense of cuisine. Start your day with a lángos with cheese and sour cream. During the day, make a brake for a lunch and enjoy a bécsi szelet. And finally, spend a relaxing evening in a pub where you could have a satiating goulash soup. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
