We want to create a baby elephant that looks like a young girl. To remind people to not treat elephants as ‘things’ or inferior creatures. They have the same rights as us to live on this planet. They have their own language and feel, just as we do.

Across Singapore the parade was on! From the zoo down to the south at Sentosa, over 160 elephants were displayed around this Lion City.

Ply is a traditional Thai word for elephant, while Punta means “thousand eyes”. This is a reference to a pineapple, often called “the fruit with thousand eyes”.
